Having an issue with my S-Max recently where it could start and run no problem for a few days (or more) then intermitenly not start, even if left over night. The problem seems to be that the brake fluid becomes too thick at cold. temperatures ( car is left outside ) to allow the brake pedal to travel far. enough to complete the circuit , for the starter button to Switch ignition on (engine off) 2. Pull and release high beam 5 times. 3. Press and release brake pedal 3 times. 4.
